Founded by Keith Cooper over 30 years ago, we have earned a global reputation for pioneering the development of high-performance test equipment that is accurate, robust, and offers unparalleled whole-life value. Following his retirement, the company was subsequently transferred to his son Andrew who continued to push it forwards to develop new products and markets, before eventually selling it in 2016. Inevitably, since then Andrew has been less involved in the management and strategic direction, focussing his activity on the development of new products and test methods.
Andrew has recently indicated his desire to enter a new phase in his life and will now enter a new chapter in his career as an independent consultant. His knowledge of the Asphalt Testing market is considerable and he has been a key figure in our industry where he has gained a worthy reputation.
We are therefore pleased that Andrew will continue to work with Cooper Research Technology and Cox & Sons in his new venture, primarily focussed on developing business in the USA and providing support on the development of products and services. In addition to his work with us, he will be developing complimentary products and services for his own benefit as well as pursuing other personal interests.
