The saturation ageing tensile stiffness (SATS) test consists of initial saturation prior to placing compacted asphalt core samples in a high-temperature and highpressure environment in the presence of moisture for an extended period of time.

Meets EN12697-35. Suitable for mixing large amounts of hot mix asphalt in the laboratory.

The Asphalt Analyser is fully compliant with the latest ASTM, AASHTO and BS Draft standards specifying equipment and procedures in determining the asphalt binder content of hot mix asphaltic and bituminous mixtures by the use of solvents.
